Philadelphia: Yarrowstalks, 1967. First edition. Paperback. Tabloid underground newspaper. The scarce first issue of Brian Zahn's underground newspaper publication which ran for twelve issues. This is the newsprint format version. Folded once horizontally and with small chips and tears to the inexpensive quality newspaper stock. A very good copy overall. This issue especially notable for the first appearance of R. Crumb's Mr. Natural, a 20-panel psychedelic comic strip as well as "The Trip" and some additional drawings. It also includes a two page interview with Timothy Leary. Among the earliest of all Crumb published appearances. Very Good. Item #20083
