Archive of Books, Pamphets, Letters, Cards, Broadsides, Magazines etc (Including Found Objects, Introduction Book, Wetting The Bed, Jerks and dozens more)

No Place: Luna Bisonte Prods et al, 1973 - 2006. First edition. Paperback. Sold here as a group is a large selection of materials by John M. Bennett, an experimental text, sound and visual poet [born in Chicago in 1942]. John is a prolific creator and publisher whose many works include collaborations with musicians, poets and artists. Included here are roughly two dozen poetry chapbooks, several of his more significant works including FOUND OBJECTS from 1973, JERKS from 1980 and INTRODUCTION BOOK from 2006. Also included in this archive are numerous poetry broadsides, cards and other booklets plus several issues of LOST & FOUND TIME, his poetry journal, several publications under his LUNA BISONTE PRODS imprint, numerous handwritten cards and short letters as well as an entire original manuscript for WETTING THE BED, written by John in 1990. Several of the books and cards are either signed or inscribed by the author. All essentially in fine condition. All told, there are close to a hundred individual items which span from the early 1970's to the 2000's. Many of the items included here would be the only copies available online. John's papers are held at Washington University in St. Louis (where Bennett studied) and perhaps only John and the archivists there may be the only folks to have a realistic handle on the depth and breadth of his oeuvre. Fine. Item #28678
