New York: New York Avant Garde Festival, 1967. First edition. Loose Sheets. Very long single sheet of paper, folded thrice for mailing, else in fine condition. Poster for the 5th annual festival which was held on board the Staten Island Ferry Boat, John F. Kennedy. The festival encompassed chamber music, happenings, environments, poetry, kinetic light art, films, jazz, sculpture, video tape art, dance, and electronic music among other features. Some of the artists at work for this show included Ay-O, Robert Breer, Christo, Philip Corner, Bob Watts, Jud Yalkut, Nam June Paik, Ken Jacobs, Jackson Mac Low and Sun Ra just to name a few.
