Iowa City: Privately Printed, 1972. First edition. Loose Sheets. Collection of nine typed poems by Anselm Hollo (one co-written with Bob Perelman) folded and included in a hand-addressed envelope sent to poet Ted Berrigan in Chicago. No note was included in the envelope. One of the poems is SIGNED by Hollo; the rest are unsigned. The poems are dated between 1972 and 1974. They include: ferocious filaments (signed), para siempre, the sensational performance of the world, notes, IN THE MAILS (cowritten with Perelman), mescalito, untitled poem with first line which begins "6,000 years of bad fightin' news", torrid zone: chicago, and the discovery of lsd a true story. Other than being folded, all the typed sheets are in fine condition. The mailing envelope is somewhat tattered where it had been roughly opened. At least two of these poems were later published in either book or magazine form (mescalito and the discovery of lsd a true story). Very Good. Item #30989
