Sold here together are a group of 22 black and white press photographs from varying demonstrations which occurred throughout Britain in the 1970's. All are from the Evening Echo Post newspaper. The issues that were being demonstrated vary, but include such issues as the International Whaling Commission, keeping Harpenden Hospital open, Right To Work demonstrations, Save The Abbey Flyer, No Bus Cuts, GEC-Marconi plant at Boreham Wood, Committee for the Release of Soviet Jewish Prisoners and much more. All in very good condition. The photos generally measure roughly 10 x 8". Most of the photos have typed descriptions attached the verso of each photo. Very Good. Item #34733
