New York: Thomas Y. Crowell Company, . First Edition First edition of Walker's scarce children's book about Langston Hughes. This is the library edition (not ex-lib), but has the Crowell Library Binding sticker to lower spine and has a different, more sturdy binding than the trade edtion. Condition is very good with small red mark to lower page block. Price clipped jacket is also very good with minor creasing and chipping. Also one smallish hole (bit larger than a pin hole) to front panel. There is also a library index sticker. All in all, a decent copy of a very scarce and desirable book.
