Illustrated by Bemelmans who is perhaps best known for the creation of Madeline. This copy, a fourth printing, is INSCRIBED by the author and includes a charming DRAWING of a donkey. Laid in to the book is a typed card explaining that this copy is from the library of Goddard Lieberson who was the president of Columbia Records. Book comes in a bright very good dustwrapper with a few small chips to the base of spine area. Fine / very good. Item #22178
